Presentazione
Il Corso di Anatomia Artistica per il Triennio, tenuto dai Proff. Antonio Fiengo e Silvia Ferri, propone agli studenti due programmi distinti. Il primo, “Rappresentare il Corpo” riguarda lo studio grafico del corpo umano (apparato locomotore) nei suoi vari aspetti statici e dinamici, attraverso lo studio delle proporzioni e della sua struttura osteologica e muscolare.
Il secondo “Venetian Fabrica” (Anatomia di una città anfibia) vuole esplorare, attraverso una ricerca personale, l'essenza di questo piccolo grande mondo chiamato Venezia.
The Artistic Anatomy Course for the Three-year BA course, taught by Professors Antonio Fiengo and Silvia Ferri, offers students two distinct programmes. The first, "Representing the Body" concerns the graphic study of the human body (locomotor apparatus) in its various static and dynamic aspects, through the study of proportions and its osteological and muscular structure.
The second, 'Venetian Fabrica' (Anatomy of an Amphibian City) aims to explore, through personal research, the essence of this little big world called Venice.
Programma
“Rappresentare il Corpo” 1° anno Apparato scheletrico
Il corso si propone di fornire agli studenti gli strumenti necessari per la corretta raffigurazione grafica della struttura umana, a partire dallo schema proporzionale diviso sia in 8 moduli, che in 7 e mezzo.
Dopo le dimostrazioni della costruzione dell'apparato scheletrico, in visione frontale, laterale e posteriore, sia in forma statica che dinamica, si passerà all'analisi e allo studio grafico di ciascun elemento costitutivo dell'apparato scheletrico, a partire dalla testa per poi passare al tronco e agli arti superiori ed inferiori. Gli studenti avranno a disposizione fogli già predisposti con la suddivisione modulare, così da semplificarne la costruzione.
Oltre allo studio dal vero, sarà richiesto agli studenti di rielaborare a memoria gli argomenti che di volta in volta verranno affrontati.
Le lezioni saranno a cadenza quindicinale e ogni argomento sarà introdotto da una lezione teorica, con l'uso di videoproiezioni, per poi passare all'applicazione pratica attraverso il disegno.
Durante l'anno si svolgeranno un paio di verifiche, di cui l'ultima, nel mese di giugno, avrà valore di pre-esame.
“Rappresentare il Corpo” 2° anno Apparato muscolare
Il corso è inteso come la naturale continuazione degli argomenti trattati nel primo anno, ma riferiti all'apparato muscolare.
Gli studenti dovranno riprendere la struttura scheletrica già affrontata in precedenza e andare a posizionare, di volta in volta, le masse muscolari nelle varie regioni del corpo, con particolare attenzione alle origini, inserzioni e funzioni. Lo studio dal vero, attraverso modelli tridimensionali e stampe, dovrà sempre essere associato a rielaborazioni mnemoniche, sia in forma statica che dinamica. Come per il primo anno, si effettueranno due verifiche, di cui la seconda, avrà valore di pre-esame.
Modalità d'esame: L'esame finale, tenderà ad appurare i progressi ottenuti da ciascun studente, sia dal punto di vista grafico che teorico.

"Representing the Body" 1st year Skeletal Apparatus
The course aims to provide students with the necessary tools for the correct graphic representation of the human structure, starting from the proportional scheme divided into both 8 and 7 and a half modules.
After demonstrations of the construction of the skeletal apparatus, in frontal, lateral and posterior view, in both static and dynamic form, we will move on to the analysis and graphic study of each constituent element of the skeletal apparatus, starting with the head and then moving on to the trunk and the upper and lower limbs. Students will be provided with sheets already prepared with the modular subdivision, so as to simplify their construction.
In addition to studying from life, students will be asked to rework from memory the topics that will be addressed from time to time.
Lessons will be held fortnightly and each topic will be introduced by a theoretical lesson, with the use of video projections, before moving on to practical application through drawing.
During the year there will be a couple of tests, the last of which, in June, will be a pre-exam.
The final exam will aim to ascertain the progress made by each student, both graphically and theoretically.
"Representing the Body" 2nd year Muscular apparatus
This course is intended as a natural continuation of the topics covered in the first year, but related to the muscular apparatus.
The students will have to take up the skeletal structure already tackled previously and go on to position, from time to time, the muscle masses in the various regions of the body, paying particular attention to their origins, insertions and functions. The study from life, by means of three-dimensional models and prints, will always have to be associated with mnemonic re-elaborations, both in static and dynamic form. As in the first year, there will be two examinations, the second of which will be a pre-examination.
The final exam will aim to ascertain the progress made by each student, both graphically and theoretically.

“Venetian Fabrica” (Anatomia di una città anfibia)
Agli studenti viene richiesto di individuare e proporre un argomento che riguardi la realtà o l'immaginario di questo luogo.
Lo studente potrà scegliere qualunque argomento che stimoli la sua attenzione, la sua curiosità e creatività; che si tratti della sua essenza acquatica, della sua storia, arte, attualità, dei personaggi del passato e del presente, cha hanno inciso e incidono nel carattere e nella storia della città. Potrà indagare gli aspetti critici, le difficoltà che incontrano i pochi abitanti rimasti (anche attraverso video ineterviste) i pro e i contro della sempre più crescente invasione turistica. La sua tradizione multietnica, di marineria, il fenomeno del Gran Tour, il suo splendore e la conseguente decadenza. Al fine di stimolare l'ispirazione e la fantasia degli studenti, ad ogni incontro, sarà proiettato un film o un documentario sulla città. Lo studente, una volta individuato l'argomento e condiviso con i docenti, potrà realizzarlo con la più ampia libertà tecnica, dal disegno, al collage, dalla fotografia al video. Il lavoro finale, qualunque tecnica sia stata utilizzata, dovrà essere confezionato in un file video, corredato, oltre che da una breve introduzione esplicativa, da un commento sonoro (suoni, voci e rumori naturali) o musicale.
Gli aforismi ed estratti descrittivi riportati nel file allegato potranno servire come ispirazione per la creazione di opere dedicate.

Venetian Fabrica (Anatomy of an Amphibian City)
Students are asked to identify and propose a topic that relates to the reality or imagery of this place.
Students will be able to choose any topic that stimulates their attention, curiosity and creativity; be it its watery essence, its history, art, current events, the characters of the past and present who have affected and are affecting the character and history of the city. It can investigate the critical aspects, the difficulties faced by the few remaining inhabitants (including through video interviews) the pros and cons of the ever-increasing tourist invasion. Its multi-ethnic, seafaring tradition, the phenomenon of the Grand Tour, its splendour and subsequent decline. In order to stimulate students' inspiration and imagination, a film or documentary about the city will be shown at each meeting. Once the topic has been identified and shared with the lecturers, the students can realise it with the greatest technical freedom, from drawing to collage, from photography to video. The final work, whichever technique is used, must be packaged in a video file, accompanied, in addition to a brief explanatory introduction, by a sound (sounds, voices and natural noises) or musical commentary.
The aphorisms and descriptive extracts in the attached file may serve as inspiration for the creation of dedicated works.
