Making It sta tornando. Il workshop artistico internazionale è condotto dal rinomato artista contemporaneo sloveno JAŠA (Jaša Mrevlje-Pollak), con il supporto dei partner PiNA (Slovenia), Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia (Italia), WE.ARE Institute (SI-Ger) e Kühlhaus Berlin (Germania).
Attraverso l'esperienza pratica, il tutoraggio di esperti e le opportunità di networking, Making It offre un'esperienza coinvolgente e arricchente progettata per ispirare e potenziare i giovani nello sviluppo della loro carriera.
Il workshop è rivolto principalmente a studenti d'arte, aspiranti artisti e giovani creativi all'inizio del loro percorso professionale.

Berlin, 5.4.2024 - Making It, an international workshop dedicated to nurturing emerging artistic talent, announces its open call for applications until May 5, 2024. This year's workshop, led by renowned contemporary artist JAŠA, offers a unique opportunity for young creatives to explore contemporary artistry, develop interdisciplinary skills, and receive mentorship from industry experts.
Rooted in collaborative ethos and driven by the need for practical guidance in contemporary art, Making It provides participants with hands-on experience, valuable insights into cultural management and entrepreneurship, and a platform to engage with socio-political issues through artistic expression.
"We are excited to continue the legacy of Making It by offering aspiring artists a dynamic and supportive environment to explore their creativity," said JAŠA, the workshop's head mentor. "Through immersive experiences, mentorship, and networking opportunities, we aim to inspire and empower the next generation of artists."
The workshop kicks off with a live presentation at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts during the Venice Biennale on April 22, 2024. It continues with a one-week training session in the coastal town of Koper from June 23 to 30, 2024, followed by online sessions and concludes with a grand finale in Berlin from November 4 to 10, 2024, where participants will showcase their work at the Kühlhaus Berlin.
Making It welcomes applications from art students, aspiring artists, and young creatives aged 20-30 with a high interest in artistic expression and personal growth. Participation is free, with subsidies available for expenses.

About JAŠA:
JAŠA, born Jaša Mrevlje-Pollak in 1978, is a contemporary artist based in Berlin. Graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 2006, JAŠA's innovative approach merges visual arts with conceptual practices. His work has been showcased internationally at prestigious venues including the Venice Biennale and Frieze London and New York.
